Item description

This is the best 1951 I have seen in original color, Right hand Drive , 82000miles approx. on the clock , comes with original purchase book and some service history It passed a RWC about 4 or 5 years ago to get full Vic Reg but it becam ejust to expensive given I looked at it so much, worked on it a lot, thusdidn't drive it much and now its only driven in the drive way and alwayslives in the garage. There is no rust that I can see , exceptional, floors, firewall, guards, the doors the boot and lid , excellent, bonnet , also excellent, sills and chassis are all really solid, even the door hinges handles , insideand out are all good, pillars , excellent, it looks like an 82000 Mile car and drives like it came out of the factory, but with updated brakes, motor, gearbox and diff, and with Pedder's suspensionIt has great dash with original radioand nobs, original dash nobs, switches to include original gages and Speedo which all work , pus a few other gages I put in as you can see, windscreenwipers all work , with very good original steering wheel , and original ignitionbarrel and keyIt has a very strong 302 Windsor, connected to an auto AOD transwith overdrive, very smooth shift and quiet with floor shift fitted , withrebuilt very quiet 9 inch diff , fitted with new disk brakes, calipers and pads, with new wheel bearings , all obtained new from America and fitted over theyears The front end is rebuilt with new rubbers, Pedder's springs , withnew shockers all around , and again with disk brakes new calipers and pads, steering box was rebuilt, the car drives tight and with no steering play. Ithink it was lowered 3 inch but cant remember may be two inches, battery in boot. All lights indicators horn work and its converted to 12 volt, The orig radiois six volt and will need a 12 volt to six converter , easy to do , and a newspeaker as old speaker was damaged when fit
